Summit Hosted by the Imperial Valley Economic Development Development (IVEDC)

The Imperial Valley Energy Summit is the premier annual event promoting utility-scale renewable energy development in Imperial Valley. This region is already loading the state’s Renewable Energy Portfolio (RPS) with its current production of about 725 MW of geothermal energy, 1,200 MW of solar and 265 MW of wind energy. Here the energy potential is off the charts, some estimates setting it as high as 42,283 MW. Additionally, the region borders Mexico, offering easy access to major markets in the state, the rest of the nation and the world.

The 11th Annual Imperial Valley  Energy Summit is scheduled on March 21-23, 2018 at the Imperial Palms Hotel and Resort at Barbara Worth. The event will gather more than 300 attendees, including developers, contractors, investors, financiers, legislators, regulators, operators and Real Estate professionals, to capitalize on wealth of opportunities inherent in this unique region of Southeastern California.
